January: Welcoming Tracey
The year kicked off with a heartwarming welcome to our first-ever employee, our client services superstar Tracey.
February: Every Step Counts in Newcastle
In February, we sat on the partner panel for the Xero Roadshow in Newcastle – the theme, “Every Step Counts,” resonating with our business approach.
March: Gold Sponsor for International Women’s Day
March saw us proudly standing as a Gold Sponsor for the Maitland Business Chamber’s International Women’s Day event, celebrating the power and impact of Hunter Valley Women in Business.
April: Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards Finalist
Excitement reached new heights as we were announced finalists in the 2023 Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards.
May: Double Win at the Awards
May turned out to be a month of triumph! We were awarded Highly Commended for Professional Services at the Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards — earning a mention in NSW Parliament!
And to top it off, Brodie was crowned 2023 Business Woman of the Year – making headlines in the Newcastle Weekly. We also sponsored the Personal Services Category at the Awards.
June: Security Accreditation Achieved
Security is a top priority for us, and in June, we proudly achieved the Accounting Data Security Standard Certified Company accreditation. It was a testament to our committment to safeguarding our clients’ trust.
July: Horsing Around for Team Building
July brought a unique twist to team building as we saddled up for a day of horse riding and lunch.
August: Cheers to 3 Years!
August was a time for celebration as we marked our third birthday – a milestone to reflect on how far we’ve come and the exciting journey that lies ahead.
August: Xerocon in Sydney
Our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends took us to Xerocon in Sydney.
September: Welcome Nikki!
As the year progressed, so did our team. In September, we welcomed Nikki as our second employee. Her arrival added another layer of bookkeeping expertise and energy to our dynamic crew.
Giving Back
Our commitment to making a positive impact extended beyond business. This year we supported Seaham Public School‘s fete, made a heartfelt donation to Dolly’s Dream – supporting their important work raising awareness about bullying and promoting a safe environment for young people. We also continued our ongoing sponsorship of the Seaham Netball Club‘s Beankeepers team.
A Time to Reflect
